Converted an internal garage into a snug, with a bay window & media wall, & a utility room at the back,we also asked if they could design & build an oak porch & we couldn’t be happier with the results of both.Their communication was excellent. They guided us through every stage, from helping us organise an architect to submitting pp & arranging building control.They answered any queries we had promptly,& nothing was ever too much trouble. They arrived on time every day & always made sure it was left tidy. They were professional, reliable,& incredibly skilled, with great attention to detail.
Matty, Jack and the team were brilliant from start to finish. Very professional and approachable and were great communicators throughout. The quality of workmanship was excellent and the works completed on time and on budget. As a Chartered Surveyor, I would consider contractors such as Oak & Stone hard to come by and I would absolutely use them again, both for personal projects as well as in my line of work. We had the most wonderful experience with these guys. We had everything done to our kitchen (DPC, stripped back to brick, re plastering, re wiring, moved the boiler and toilet in a downstairs toilet, installed a kitchen from Wren, as well as hand building a matching cupboard for our alcoves. Incredible workmanship, nothing was too much bother, wonderful communication (even the smallest updates). We had a daily update on what had been done, and what was left to do. They were totally upfront with the price and kept us up to date with the project and the timeline. Couldn’t recommend them more.
Garage divided to create utility room at the rear. Excellent work by the Oak and Stone team, who also co-ordinated plastering, plumbing and electrical trades. Very happy with the result which has created a useful(well insulated) space with the addition of a new sink/washing machine area. Job did involve moving the kitchen drain outside and moving a window; excellent joinery and brickwork. Also left the worksite very tidy at the end of each day. Would definitely use them again.
Oak & Stone carried out a porch replacement, garage exterior door replacement, installation of plumbing and drainage to detached garage for a washing machine installation, and installation of a bathroom extractor fan. They were professional throughout: They answered queries promptly, executed to a high standard and remedied any small issues. They organised external tradesmen (electrician, plumber), kept the work area tidy and stuck to the agreed timeframe and initial quote, even despite small complications arising during the work.
On time every day... Replaced all my main roof ridge tiles with screwed ridges. Replaced crumbling face bricks (below the damp course at the rear of house) with engineering bricks. Removed a side window & built the side up in brick ready to take the pitched roof. Replaced kitchen extension flat roof with a pitched roof. Fit new kitchen window. Replaced garage flat roof with a pitched roof. Fit patio doors to rear garage. Fixed leaking guttering & added two new down pipes. Fitted new fire door from kitchen to the garage.
We used this company to design and build our media wall. They were very professional and efficient in fulfilling our needs and what we were requesting. The work was to a very high standard , would highly recommended for and building and joinery work . Absolutely delighted with the finished result.
The guys designed and built floating beds for my daughters to give them more space to play in the bedroom. They were very efficient and completed the job quickly and to a very high standard. All round very professional and will definitely be using them again in the future!
